Our satin gold brass has an alloy mixture of 85% copper and 15% zinc with a clear lacquer coating on one side. This plate is mainly used for rotary or diamond drag engraving, but the clear lacquer coating also allows for the plate to be digitally printed.  When oxidized, the engraved areas will turn black.  Thickness:  .020"
